Calling all Quest women! Come join us at AR Workshop for an afternoon of woodworking, painting, and fellowship on Saturday, November 10 from 2:00 to 5:00! AR Workshop is a boutique DIY studio located in the Chesterfield valley at 135 Chesterfield Towne Center. Are you not so artsy-fartsy? That’s okay! All projects such as custom wood signs, framed signs, plank trays, lazy susans, jewelry boards, centerpiece boxes, photo frames, and porch signs are done by stenciling. You will not be required to paint “free-hand.” AR Workshop provides you with an apron, gloves, tools, a wide selection of paints and stains, and clear directions. Each table of up to 6 ladies will receive a “table assistant” who will give you step-by-step instructions. Most workshops take around 3 hours to complete and at the end, you will get to take your finished project home and enjoy your new stylish custom decor! With the holidays just around the corner, you can even make a personal gift for friends or family!
To register, go to www.arworkshop.com/chesterfield and then click on “projects” to select what type of wood piece you would like to create. After selecting your favorite project, take note of the design name (for example, “modern dot monogram lazy susan”). And then click “register for a workshop.” You will be directed to the monthly calendar of classes where you will then select, “Quest Women’s Ministry Private Party” on November 10. Since this is a private event, you’ll need to enter in the password, “QUEST.” It will then give you a list of projects and quantities. Select the project you would like to make and how many of them you would like to make. Projects range from $39.50 to $72.50. Then click the black button that says, “register now.”
Next, enter in all your attendee information. This is where you will type your design name (like “modern dot monogram lazy susan”) and if you have any personalization such as a family name or a significant year, type that in as well. Not all designs have personalization so you may not enter anything (for instance, if you’re making a project with a Bible verse). Once you’re done with your personal info, proceed to your payment options. After paying, you are finished and you will receive an email confirmation.
On November 10, you are welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks to the class but you will not need to print out the email confirmation! AR Workshop has complimentary water bottles and retail for sale such as jewelry and soaps. Be sure to register now because space is limited to 30 ladies and the event is almost half full already!
