Quest has been partnering with Thrive STL for many years. Each year, we hold a baby shower collection to help stock the shelves of Thrive’s Parent University store. Parent University is a course that Thrive’s prospective parents can take to learn the many ins and outs of parenting. Throughout the course, they earn Thrive bucks that they can later be used to buy baby supplies and gear from the Parent University store to help them care for their new baby.
Between January 8th – 29th, Quest will be collecting baby supplies for the Parent University store.
There are many items that are needed, so please find the list below. There are some items that “gently used” is acceptable, but many things must be new. Also, note the things at the bottom of the list that Thrive does not accept for safety reasons.
Larger Items:
- Pack-n-plays with bassinets (new or used in good condition)
- Infant car seats (new only)
- Toddler car seats (new only)
- High chairs (new or used in good condition)
- Booster seats for use at table (new or used in good condition)
- Bumbo seats (new or used in good condition)
- Strollers (new or used in good condition)
- Baby swings (new or used in good condition)
- Bouncy seats (new or used in good condition)
- Cribs (new or used in good condition with no drop down sides and conforms to current safety standards)
- Crib mattresses (new or used -must be firm and in good condition)
- Breast pumps (new only)
- Baby play gyms/floor mats (new or gently used)
- Changing table (new or gently used)
Medium to Smaller Items:
- Boppy pillows and pillow covers (new or used in good condition)
- Baby carrier
- Baby monitors (new or used)
- Small toys designed for up to 1 year (new only)
- Pacifiers (new only)
- Pacifier holders (new only)
- Teething rings (new only)
- Bottles (new only)
- Sippy cups (new only)
- Breast milk storage bags (new packages only)
- Nursing pads (new packages only)
- Baby in sight auto mirror (new or used)
- Baby board books (new or used in good condition)
- Baby wash cloths (new only)
- Receiving blankets (new or gently used)
- Baby toiletries (wash, lotion, shampoo, diaper ointment-NO powder, please)
- Baby Laundry detergent
- Diapers (size 4 & 6 needed most)
- Wipes
- Crib sheets and pack-n-play sheets (new or gently used)
- Baby kits with baby thermometers, nail clippers, bulb syringe (new only)
- Baby food
- Baby formula
Clothing
- Maternity clothing (new or very gently used)
- Sleepers newborn- 2T (new or gently used)
- Onesies newborn-2T (new or gently used)
- Children’s clothing sizes newborn-2 Toddler (new or very gently used)
- Children’s socks and shoes sizes newborn-2Toddler (new or very gently used)
We do NOT accept:
- Stuffed animals (either new or used)
- Used toys
- Used car seats
- Used breast pumps
- Used bottles or used sippy cups
- Used pacifiers or used teething rings
- Expired food or formula
- Open packages of diapers or loose diapers
- Women’s business clothing
- Used potty chairs
