Today we look at James 5:7-12 and for the church to be mature, trustworthy and faithful… we need to be transformed by the compassion and mercy of God.
Today’s message was a warning about the obsession with and use of money. The main passage came from James 4:13-5:6, but we touched on passages 1 Timothy 6:10, Matthew 6:34 and Deuteronomy 24:14-15.
James 4:1-12 – Allegiance to self destroys and divides community. Allegiance to God begins with humility and delivers us from what destroys.
We look at James 3:13-18 and how selfish ambition will ruin a church body, while Godly wisdom will bring peace.
