Quest Kids – Truth Force Food Collection

As many of you know, during the first half of the summer our Kindergarten through 6th grade students were “Agents in Training” at the International Spy Academy to become members of The Truth Force.  They learned many important aspects of being part of The Truth Force – learning how to spot counterfeit gods, and the fact that the One True God is unique because He is one God in three persons!  We also learned to crack codes to learn about the attributes of the One True God that shows He is like no other. We collected clues to reveal how to become a child of the One True God, and that He is not distant but personal, wanting to be their first love.

The Agents have completed their training in the Truth Force and will continue their work this summer by depending on God to become confident in sharing Him with others, in a world where our enemies are fighting to erase Him from society.

For the remainder of the summer session, each week they will participate in a unique mission to prepare them to share their knowledge of the One True God with others.  As we learn to look outward for ways to share our God, we will be inviting the Agents to participate in a tangible way that we can share our knowledge of God and invite others to know Him as well.  We will be asking the Agents to participate in a food drive for the Circle of Concern Food Pantry, which serves the West St. Louis County community.  Each child in Quest Kids will be receiving a green bag this Sunday, August 4th with a list of suggested items inside the bag that will help fulfill the needs of the families that are helped by Circle of Concern.

*If you have a child in the Truth Force, please give them opportunities to help with chores or other ways they can earn money to help fill the food bag.  They may also want to ask neighbors or family members if they would like to participate.

** If you are the parent of a child in Pre-K # 1 or Pre-K # 2, we invite you to have your child participate as well.  We will provide bags to the children and speak with them about what we are doing.

ALL BAGS SHOULD BE RETURNED BY AUGUST 28TH.  There will be clear tubs labeled “TRUTH FORCE FOOD COLLECTION” near the counter by the kitchen window downstairs as well as in the auditorium by the Ministry Table. Feel free to fill as many bags as you would like.

Thank you in advance for your participation!
