Quest is now in a series about the Holy Spirit. He dwells in every believer and empowers us to love and live the way God desires us to live. We are so excited to see what God will teach each one of us through His Word and by the power of His Holy Spirit. The timing couldn’t be better (I wonder if God had anything to do with that?) because Quest Kids will be learning about the Armor of God this summer. Ephesians 6:10-11 says, “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.” Now that’s power!
We will be sharing more about our Quest Kids’ summer very soon, but first, we are asking you all to stand with us in prayer that God’s truth would be clear, powerful and life changing in the lives of our children, their families, and all those teaching and helping this summer. Also, please pray that God would speak to those that He wants to help this summer and they would respond to His call. We believe He will provide just what we need. He already has begun doing that.
The enemy understands the power of the Holy Spirit and the armor that God has provided. He does not want us to see or realize that there is a spiritual battle going on or that there IS power in the Armor of God. We encourage you to read Ephesians 6:10-18 and to continue to pray for Quest Kids. Let’s stand together in prayer and watch with expectancy to see what God will do!
