Quest Kids is Gearing Up

Quest Kids is gearing up for another great school year. Our children are an important part of our church body and we are looking for people who would like to Help Kids Find Direction for Life by sharing God’s Love and Word with them.

We are excited and thankful that so many of our teaching team from last year are returning again because they have found joy in ministry to our children. We are so thankful for the men and women who served and are serving this summer so that last year’s teachers are ready to serve again.

However, there are still several needs for this coming year where you can volunteer to help. Please look for the sign up flyer as you leave service on Sunday and prayerfully consider if God would have you serve this year.

Our needs for this coming Quest Kids year:

  • Nursery (6wks through 2yrs) – 8 adults to serve 2 weeks every two months. Friends Team – 6 people to come alongside a child and help them in a classroom situation. (training will be provided) (Older teens and adults)
  • Sunday Morning Supervisors (no Prep) – Several people to take one Sunday every month to help direct a mornings, safety concerns, children’s set up people and act as a “go to person” for the teachers during a morning. ( 8 am – 11:40)
  • Laundry Team – depending on number of volunteers (1-4x a month) take home laundry on Sunday and bring back the following (generally one wash load)
  • Birthday, Miss You and Get Well Card Organizer
  • Communication – people who like to design flyers, set up of excel spreadsheets and forms for attendance, class lists etc ( what would take us a couple hours could be done in 30 minutes by someone who knows what they are doing)
  • Teens – who would like to serve in a variety of capacities and learn how to serve effectively.
  • Subs for each age level.

Again, if you’d be willing to spend some Sundays with our Quest Kids, please fill out a sign up sheet after service this Sunday.

Thank you!
Karen
