We’re putting together a team for a mission trip this October. ReachGlobal Crisis Response is helping with hurricane clean up after Hurricane Laura decimated the area in Lake Charles, LA. Quest’s team will go October 17th-23rd. Team members will fill out an informational skills form that will help the Reach Global staff to determine the best tasks suited for your teams giftings. Possible tasks can include…
- Construction
- Relational Ministry
- Prayer
- Help support our Church Planter partners in a variety of ways
- Community Ministry (VBS; sports; music; etc.)
- Other needs as determined
The cost for the trip is $275 per person. This does not include transportation or personal expenses. Lodging will be provided at Lake Charles Bible Church. Breakfast and dinner will be included for each team member, plus a Reach Global Crisis Response t-shirt. The trip cost goes toward sustaining the volunteer response during the long-term recovery, ministry/construction supplies/materials and to cover ongoing ReachGlobal ministry needs.
In the past, extra personal and food expenses have been about $100. Travel by driving (12-14 hour trip) is about $75, and by air it would be (an estimated) $450.
