Thrive is a St. Louis ministry that provides low cost/no cost women’s healthcare. Their services range from pregnancy and STD testing to ultrasounds and parenting education classes and even counseling services. Quest is partnering with Thrive to host a baby shower to help support their Parent University by providing items that are helpful to new parents.
When a woman joins Parent University, they go through educational classes to learn more about parenting, child development, etc. The more classes they attend, the more “baby bucks” they earn. They can then take those baby bucks and go shopping in the Parent University store where they can buy things that they need like baby clothes, diapers, wipes, toys, even car seats and more.
Quest Women is throwing a baby shower to help fill the shelves of the Parent University store because the store only survives off donations. You’re invited to come and celebrate Thrive and the incredible number of women and babies that they have helped. Join the fun at Quest on Saturday, March 5th from 10am-12pm. Just like any baby shower, we encourage you to bring a gift to give to Thrive. The items most needed are:
- Diapers
- Wipes
- Blankets
- Onesies and baby outfits
- baby toys
- infant car seats
There is no need to wrap the item(s) that you bring.
During the baby shower, the ladies will enjoy some party snacks while getting to hear from Thriver, Levi Hart, about Thrive and how the ministry has impacted the St. Louis region and beyond.
You can sign up for the shower at the Ministry Table on Sunday morning.
