Dear Questers,
I first want to say that I appreciate all of you. I also want to share with you that I am resigning my position with Quest, effective Nov 3rd. I want to emphasize that Jennifer and I are not leaving Quest, I am just leaving my position. God convicted my heart of this several months ago, but it has taken until recently for me to share it with the elders. While I’ve enjoyed many parts of my role and responsibilities with Quest, the handling of the day to day operations has insulated me from the everyday mission field in our community. It is my desire to get back out there. I am working with the elders in transitioning my responsibilities so that this can happen.
I am thankful for the opportunity to have been a part of Quest from the early days of being on the launch team to where it is now. God has taught me so much through this journey. The relationships that our family has developed with the people of Quest are meaningful and a huge joy for us. You will see us around on Sundays, that’s for sure, but I do plan to step back for awhile to recharge. For Jennifer and I, we will continue to be on mission and in ministry. Sharing the Love of Christ will always be a part of our journey!
