Ladies! The next event for our Quest Women will be a guided historical tour at the Missouri History Museum on Saturday, November 12th at 10am.
The 1904 World’s Fair: Looking Back at Looking Forward
Through dialogue and activities, guided groups will revisit the 1904 World’s Fair with a new perspective and dive deeper into the complexity of executing such a massive event. By examining first-person accounts and analyzing objects in the gallery, participants will learn about the people who worked at the Fair, those who were put on display, and those who witnessed when “the world came to St. Louis.”
This tour will start at 10am and last one hour (please meet at the museum by 9:45am). After the tour, the ladies will have lunch together at Cafe St. Louis by Pure, the restaurant at the museum.
The cost for this tour is only $3 plus the cost of lunch the day of. There will be an option to carpool, so please indicate that you wish to carpool when you sign up. Carpoolers will meet at Quest at 9am the morning of the tour and leave for the museum no later than 9:10am.
You can sign up and pay for this tour at the Ministry Table on Sunday mornings. Questions? Please talk to Diane Hughes.
