Please join us for our 3rd annual Baptism Palooza on September 6, 2015! Church is a party and Quest is a church that LOVES to celebrate! The celebration will begin at our usual 10am but instead of meeting at Crestview Middle School, we will all gather at Thomas and Fredda-Lois Loafmann’s property in Wildwood. You can find their address in the church directory.

We’ll worship starting at 10am, followed by baptisms in the pool. After the baptisms, we’ll eat, play games, celebrate, eat some more, swim, play some more… celebrate some more… why? Because church is a PARTY and making a statement of faith through baptism is something to celebrate!

The meal will be a potluck, but Quest will be providing the main dish and drinks. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Also, please bring your own chairs. We will have a big tent for the service, but chairs will be up to you – camper style, folding, whatever you have and want to bring.

Baptism is a beautiful expression of identifying oneself with Christ by going under the water which represents dying to self and the things of our sinful self and then coming out of the water which represents the life that Christ provides in our new self, being a new creation. It all takes on meaning because Christ died for us and was buried (going under the water) and then defeated death once and for all (being raised out of the water).
