Every Christmas, Quest has a special project that we call “Advent Conspiracy.” This project varies year to year with different needs that our partnering missions may have that need some extra financial help in achieving. In the past, we’ve tackled things like rebuilding homes, repairing roofs, aiding refugees, feeding children, etc.
This year’s project is split into six mini projects that include funding the children’s’ feeding program at WISH in Haiti ($5,000), funding the Women’s program at WISH in Haiti ($5,000), aiding a Bulgarian orphanage ($4,000), building a wheelchair ramp with New City Fellowship Workday ($5,000), funding a literacy and translation program in the Mountains of Asia ($3,000) as well as helping WISH employee’s with the cost of their children’s school tuition ($11,250). All together, fully funding these projects will need $33,250.
While that total number may seem like a “goal,” it’s not. We only want what God wants for us. So if He wants the projects fully funded, awesome. If not, we will trust his sovereignty. So, think about it. Pray about it. Ask the Lord how you might enter into these Advent Conspiracy projects this year in an effort to spend less, give more, worship fully and love all.
