Dear Quest,
My regrettable mistake on Sunday of announcing prematurely the death of Tammaris Bohannon the St. Louis City Policeman was precipitated by a report that he was wounded so severely that recovery was all but impossible. That got twisted into a report that I received twice that he had passed on Sunday morning. The fact is that he passed away on Sunday afternoon after taking him off life support.
Once again forgive me for passing on what I thought was reliable information that in fact turned out to not be so. I want to encourage us all to be praying for the Bohannon family. He leaves three children, and his wife Alexis, behind who will have to grieve his loss. Pray for the Metropolitan Police family that will have to deal with the senseless loss of a fellow officer, a brother in the family of police.
Pray for all of those who are impacted by this tragedy. Pray without ceasing, especially at 9 am and 9 pm… 9-1-1. At the tope of each hour let your focus be upward to pray. First Responders will define the 9 o’clock hour.
