An Integral Part of our Quest Community
Hello Quest,
It has been such a joy to join the Quest family and to jump in with the student ministry. I am so excited to see what the Lord is already doing in Quest Students and I think that God will be doing some amazing things in our group over the coming weeks, months and years. We have spent the last few weeks talking about the foundational idea of following Jesus and centering our lives around a relationship with God. We want Quest Students to be a place where we can help teenagers follow Christ and walk alongside them through the ups and downs of middle school and high school.
My desire to help teens follow Christ was first ignited when I came to know the Lord at the age of 16. I was going through a hard season in life and people from my youth group reached out to me and began to enter into my struggles and questions. I felt far from God, but I came to encounter God’s love for me in Christ through my relationships with other teenagers and youth leaders. The church community was a place where I came to know the Lord and ever since then I have had a deep passion to see fellow students come to know Jesus and experience the life and hope that are found in Him. I love seeing the work that God is doing in the lives of young people in our church and I am looking forward to this next season of Quest Students!
Quest Students meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:15 in the lower level of the church. We take time at each gathering to study God’s word, to encourage each other in small groups, to play some games and enjoy hanging out together. We would love to see teenagers connected to the Quest community and from the surrounding schools come and join our group and come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
