Johnathan was born and raised in St. Louis, and has a passion to see people come to know Jesus and experience the new life that is found in Christ. Johnathan grew up attending church and hearing the Gospel from a young age. However, the storms of life challenged his faith as a teenager and the Lord brought people into his life who showed him the love of Christ. God used the community of faith to bring Johnathan into a relationship with Jesus and ignited a passion in his heart for ministry and for helping other people come to know Jesus.
For college, Johnathan attended Truman State University where he studied philosophy and religion. Upon graduation, he returned to St. Louis to work in student ministries and attend Covenant Theological Seminary. In 2015, Johnathan married his incredible, Christa, and had their a sweet baby girl, Zoe, in 2018. Johnathan loves studying God’s Word and investing in the lives of others. He is an avid reader and learner, enjoys spending time outdoors, playing board games and building relationships over a cup of coffee.
