Town Hall Meetings: August 29th and 30th, 7 pm on the Lower Level of our new building.
We invite you and encourage you to join the Elders at one of the two Town Hall Meetings coming up on August 29th (Monday) and 30th (Tuesday). These meeting are designed to both inform you of the important issues our church is facing while also inviting your input and perspectives. These meetings are open to anybody and everybody…..you do not have to be on the roster of formal members. However, these meetings are important venues for members to prepare themselves for the Annual Business Meeting on Sunday, September 11th.
The Annual Business Meeting at many churches has become a battle ground for division and conflict. By not providing a time and place for information and discussion people are trapped expressing their concerns in a less than productive forum. It is our desire to have the Business Meeting be a place where unity is celebrated and God is honored by our one ‘anotherness’. In order to get to that goal we want to provide a time and place to interact and respect one another’s questions, perspectives, and concerns.
All of this is vitally important because we have seen God be amazingly gracious and generous to us and among us. We would be remiss if we did anything that did not encourage our commitment to deeply loving one another and work together in a productive manner. Join us for an evening of working together to be the church He has designed us to be.
