I honestly would love to sit down with you and have a BLT sometime, but more importantly I would like to invite you to join a group of people for a BLT (a group of people who meet to BELONG, LEARN, AND be TRANSFORMED). These are groups of 15-30 people who meet every other week. These groups are one of the most important venues in Quest’s ministry and are designed help you be plugged into the lives of people from various generations. If you are new to Quest or haven’t been plugged in before I know it is always hard to risk starting from scratch with a new group of people. We tend to avoid the awkwardness and avoid taking the risk. But we end up disconnected…..and that is not a good idea.
Honestly, we have 5 really great groups for you to choose from at various times of the week. Therefore, two weeks during the month of September will be an “open house” month for the BLT’s. You are welcome to visit any or all of these groups during that month and see which might fitsfor you. We will have the details for you soon on the leaders, locations, and dates.
If you have been a part of a BLT but for whatever reason you need to change, this open house month is meant for you also. September will be s sort of ‘on ramp’ and ‘off ramp’ for the BLT’s.
